The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is a software or online solution for the data entry, data tracking, and data information needs of the Human Resources, payroll, management, and accounting functions within a businessMonthly Status Reports.

Here is a list of every Information System I utilize in a 24 hour period.
Laptop - hardware, the computer itself and all of its support equipments.
Windows 7 - software, computer programs and the manuals (if any) that support them.
Sheridan College Website - Data, facts that are used by programs to produce useful information.Like programs.
Classroom - Procedures, the policies that govern the operation of a computer system. "Procedures are to people what software is to hardware"
